Remove carpet and floor tile and furnish and install floor tile at three (3) school locations Intent/Scope
It is the intent of this Bid to establish a contract(s) for the removal of carpet and floor tile and installation of VCT floor tile in school locations within Carroll County, Maryland.
Successful bidder shall be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, and services required to accomplish the work in accordance with the specifications contained in this bid and as detailed as follows for various Carroll County Public Schools. Remove existing adhered carpet and/or floor tile and furnish and install Floor Tile and prep floors as required for the following schools with areas so indicated for each school, all in accordance with the enclosed specifications and the provisions of this Invitation to Bid. 1. Freedom Elementary School - 5626 Sykesville Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784
4th & 5th Grade Hallway:
Remove existing VCT tile and replace with Tarkett VCT II 480 Pure White.
Where cove base exists, replace with new Johnsonite 40 Black B Cove Base. 2. Friendship Valley Elementary School - 11 Gist Rd, Westminster, MD 21157
Common Area A, B, C, Room A02 and A04, Door #13 and Door #19:
Remove existing rubber tile in all areas and replace with Tarkett VCT II 480 Pure White with a 594 Turquoise border.
Where cove base exists, replace with new Johnsonite 40 Black B Cove Base. 3. West Middle School - 60 Monroe St, Westminster, MD 21157
Room 50 and four (4) adjacent rooms:
Remove all carpet and replace with Tarkett VCT II 480 Pure White.
