Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work is officially known as 2023 Street Reconstruction and Water Main Improvements Program and further described as full depth resurfacing with 2 of HMA Surface Course, 2.25 of HMA Binder Course, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, construction of lateral storm sewers, plugging the existing water main to the water service boxes, water service box removal and replacement, valve vaults, fire hydrants, and all necessary restoration as further described in the contract documents for the said work prepared by Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL). Pre-Qualification: Yes IDOT PREQUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must supply each of the three (3) prequalifications below with their bid: : Underground Contractor/Subcontractor must have IDOT #12 Drainage Prequal of $8,000,000. : Paving Contractor/Subcontractor must have IDOT #3 Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant Mix Prequal. : Concrete Contractor/Subcontractor must have IDOT #17 Concrete Construction Prequal.
