Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of November 28, 2023, a general contractor has been awarded. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to March 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Aurora, Illinois (City) is in need of professional services from a qualified engineering consultant for Phase III Construction Engineering Services for the 2023 City Wide Resurfacing project. As a part of the selection process, the interested consultants are required to a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the requested work. The 2023 City Wide Resurfacing Program consists of resurfacing of over 90 streets totaling more than 43 lane miles of improvements. The improvements consist of curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, landscaping, cold milling, patching, placement of polymerized binder IL-4.75 and surface course, adjustments, thermoplastic pavement markings, and other work as shown in the project plans and specifications. The plans and bid package are not available at time of this this initial posting, but will be available later on the City's Bids & Solicitations page as Bid 23-25. A formal addendum will not be provided to announce when the plans and bid package are released. The 2023 project is of similar size and scope as the 2022 project Question Deadline 03/22/2023 at 4:00 PM CT
