Deadline for questions and clarifications March 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM The Contractor and its subcontractors will be required to pay the prevailing wage rate based on the Davis-Bacon wage rates applicable to Bell County, Texas at Electronically. A 5% Bid Security will be required. 100% payment and performance bonds will be required. 5% retainage will be required. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day for unexcused delays will be required. Insurance will be required in accordance with the contract This project shall start not earlier than April 30, 2023 and completed not later than June 1, 2023. Work must be completed in 3 consecutive working days. Contractor shall contact the Engineer before work is scheduled to allow the Road and Bridge Department to prepare the site Owner reserves the right in termination for cause to take assignment of all the contracts between Contractor and its subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Owner will promptly notify Contractor of the contracts Owner elects to assume. Upon receipt of such notice, Contractor shall promptly take all steps necessary to affect such assignment. The bidder understands that the Project must be finished within 90 working days from date of signing of the Contract.
