Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The purpose of this project is to repair and/or replace the courtesy docks and accessory items at Remley's Point Boat Landing caused by hurricanes and storms in the area. All questions pertaining to the bid documents shall be referred by email prcprocurement@ccprc.com. The last day and time for submittal of written questions shall be no later than 2:00 p.m. ET, Friday, March 24, 2023. Any interpretation, correction or change of the IFB documents will be made by addendum. It is your responsibility to monitor the Procurement website at www.ccprc.com for any additional information, revisions, or addenda that may be posted. Scope of Work and meet the intent of the IFB. The Scope of Work listed under Item 1- Base Bid and extended under each subsequent Item description assumes to include all labor, permits, material, equipment and inclusive servicesrequired to complete the project. Unit prices are for any pay adjustments. SCOPE OF WORK The purpose of this project is to repair and/or replace the courtesy docks and accessory items at Remley's Point Boat Landing caused by hurricanes and storms in the area. Aluminum Floating Dock & Accessories The work shall be for four (4) 8-foot wide aluminum groundout floating dock sections (2-35 ft long, 1-25 ft long & 1-20 ft long for a total of 105-feet) with internal pile guides, aluminum transition plate connection (for future use) and all accessories. The dock shall be designed around four (4) existing internal concrete piles and four (4) new internal pile guides (sized to match the existing concrete piles) The groundout docks shall be designed and constructed groundout during all tide levels without damaging the dock floatation system or the docks. A new transition plate connector (for possible future use) shall be installed on shore end of the groundout dock. All materials to be manufactured or distributed by CMI/GatorDock & GatorBridge, Ravens Marine, or a pre-approved supplier by the Engineer/County. Marine Timber Pilings The Contractor shall furnish and install all equipment, materials, appurtenances, tools, labor, and supervision necessary to constructthe work with all appurtenant construction and special equipment as indicated on the Drawings including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Installation four new timber piles at new pile guide locations. o Refer to Remley's Point Boat Landing Hurricane Repairs plans and specifications for instructions. o Contractor is responsible for making repairs to any CCPRC facilities damaged during construction. o Contractor must have a Marine Contractor's License for work on the floating docks. o Normal work hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Any weekend work must be o approved prior to commencing work. o Boat landing will be partially closed to the public during construction. o The contractor shall maintain a safe work area around the facility. o The worksite shall be secured and cleaned up daily (nails, debris, equipment, etc.) o Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all construction materials and debris. o Provide As-Built drawings. o Remley's Point BL must be substantially complete and ready to use by June 15, 2023. o Final completion for the entire project must be reached by June 30, 2023. o Liquidated Damages: $300 per day. o Work must be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, the 2018 International Plumbing Code, and all local codes. o Means and methods are the responsibility of the contractor. o Contractor must comply with the Town of Mount Pleasant Business License. o OCRM Maintenance and Repair permit has been applied for.
