Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Witset, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The general scope of work for this contract is the construction of a 500m long multi-use pathway. Construction of the pathway will involve some clearing and grubbing, stripping, site grading, supply and installation of base coarse aggregates and asphalt pavement as an Optional Item. The project scope also includes a small culvert and a number of traffic and pathway signs, and other miscellaneous items. Optional work for this contract includes asphalt pavement, shouldering, a trail counter, concrete pads, flexible bollards, geotextile and geogrid. The inclusion of the optional work in the contract is contingent on whether the received tender prices allow for the work within the pre-determined grant-funded budget.
