The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors to remove existing storefront aluminum door and frame and replace with the same kind of door but with opposite door hanging to prevent wind from holding door open at the Iowa DOT Drivers License Station in Fort Dodge, IA. Scope of Work: Door Replacement Fort Dodge, IA DL Station Remove existing 3'-0" x 7'-0" storefront aluminum door and frame to be replaced with the same kind of door but with opposite door hanging to prevent wind from holding door open. Remove and replace all door hardware including power operator, panic and rim device. Work to be done during regular working days and hours M - F 8:00 - 4:00. Protect adjacent surfaces while work is being performed. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. The Iowa DOT is tax exempt. Please do not include tax with your bid submission.
