South Canaan Township Supervisors are accepting bids for 33,000 +/- gallons of liquid calcium chloride for dust palliative hauled and applied to various roads within the municipality; a minimum of 2,800 gallons to be applied upon request. Materials must meet Penn Dot specifications. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Successful bidder must provide the municipality with IRS form W-9, certificate of insurance and payment and performance bonds in the amount of 50% of the contract within twenty (20 days) of the award. Failure to do so will be considered a breach of contract and constitute grounds to cancel the contract.
