the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer
in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed, emailed, or delivered to
all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions
received less than _3_ days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or
clarifications will be without legal effect. Project Location:

Description of Work:
23E100 - Crack Seal Program - Approximately 74 LnMI of Overband Crack Fill, Lane
SCOPE OF THE WORK - SUBJECT MATTER. The Contractor, under penalty of bond, if
applicable, attached, shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and appliances suitable,
capable, and necessary for the Work and do all the Work as set forth in the bid for the above
project according to the specifications, plans, bids, bonds and other Contract documents which
are or become a part of this Contract, in a manner, time and place as herein set forth.
It is the intent of the Contract Documents to describe a functionally complete Project to be
constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Any labor, documentation, services,
materials, or equipment that may reasonably be inferred from the Contract or from prevailing
custom or trade usage as being required to produce the intended result will be provided at no
additional cost to the Road Commission. The Scope of Work is referred to herein asthe "Work"
or the "Scope of Work."
