Furnish and deliver 2 (two) EW-6 Modified headwalls. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver 2 (two) EW-6 Modified headwalls in accordance to the specifications contained in this solicitation. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Shonda Fowler by email at shonda.fowler@vdot.virginia.gov. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver the following: Line 1: 2 (two) each, one inlet and one outlet, headwall, EW-6 Modified for Triple Barrel 60" Corrugated Metal Pipe - no skew. If any specialty lifting devices, spreader bar, etc., are required for unloading and setting the above-mentioned end walls they shall be provided at no additional cost. The lifting devices shall be returned to the Vendor by VDOT once the units have been unloaded and set in place. The successful bidder shall submit a shop drawing for the modified end walls to Zach Agee at zach.agee@vdot.virginia.gov within five (5) business days for approval. All items to be delivered to Route 721, GPS location 36.955377, -79.814888. Unloading shall be handled by VDOT personnel or VDOT representative. The construction of the concrete pre-cast end walls shall meet all of the of the 2020 VDOT Road & Bridge Specifications & the current version of the VDOT Road & Bridge Standards page 101.12. Dimensions shall be modified to accept a Triple Barrel 60" Corrugated Metal Pipe.
