Site work for a road / highway in Strongsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Each BID must contain the full name or names of the interested parties, and in the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio, and be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check on a solvent bank or bid bond made payable to the order of the City of Strongsville, Ohio, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The BID check or BID bond, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the BID proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the bidder and the City of Strongsville, Ohio. The price of material and labor bid shall be separately stated. Copies of the specifications, instructions to Bidders, forms of proposals and other contract documents are on file at the Office of the Director of Public Service of the City of Strongsville, Ohio, Bidders must use the printed forms of proposal available as aforesaid, as none other will be accepted. A Bidder/Contractor will be deemed committed to the Department of Labor's goals and timetables for the Cleveland, Ohio area as specified in the Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246 by submitting a properly signed bid). Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. The Council of the City of Strongsville, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or minor defects in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City. The City of Strongsville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
