Site work for a mixed-use development in Safford, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and transportation facility.
The City hired Bowman Consulting to complete a detailed study of the airport water system and the City's water system. The study will provide fire protection alternatives, longevity of each fire protection alternative, costs associated and recommended short term and long-term fire protection alternative. This project will be updated with the findings and recommendation. As of May 30, 2023, this project is included in the City of Safford's FY 2022-2026 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
