Reference Number : 1700833 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-03-23 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 60 The Société des Traversiers du Québec wishes to obtain services for the realization of arc flash studies for its ships and its infrastructure. 2. Description of needs Studies of short-circuit, coordination of protections and arc fault ("arc flash"). These studies must be carried out every 5 years, on the items defined in point 2.7. All its items as well as the quantities requested in the price schedule must be completed within 5 years. Each study must be submitted to the project manager appointed by the STQ, who will accept the content. The studies requested must contain the following elements: Production of short-circuit study reports, coordination of protections and arc fault ("arc flash") signed by an engineer member of the OIQ. The arc flash studies will be carried out according to the IEEE-1584 standard for the evaluation of the incident energy of electric arc events at the various electrical equipment of the network and according to the CSA-Z462-21 standard to establish the Appropriate PPE and safe distances. Training (1 per study) must be provided at our premises in person or virtually (approximately 50/50) on flash arcs in electricity, their importance, their level of danger and the provisions to be made. (Trainings must last between 1h30 and 2h). Participants should obtain a copy of the presentation once it is completed. 3. Applicable intergovernmental agreements Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO) Intergovernmental agreement on public procurement between the government of Quebec and the government of the state of New York (AQNY). 5. The representative of the Société des traversiers du Québec To ensure uniformity in the interpretation of the tender documents and to facilitate the exchange of information, the STQ designates the following person to represent it.
