Public notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the following prime contracts will be received for the construction of New Castle County Vocational Technical School District Hodgson Vo-Tech High School Bid Package D.1 Building Envelope and Fitout located in Wilmington, Delaware. Bids will be received at the office of New Castle County Vo-Tech School District, 1417 Newport Road, Wilmington, DE 19804 Contract D.1-02: Miscellaneous Metals, Stairs, and Rails Contract D.1-05: Exterior Metal Panels Contract D.1-38: Electrical Service Primary Ductbank This project is a pilot project authorized by SB 160, Section 34, in which seven percent (7%) of the contractors for the project are DBEs. Non-DBE contractors may achieve the seven percent (7%) by hiring DBE firms as subcontractors or having their subcontractors hire DBE firms. All DBE firms must be registered with either the Delaware Department of Transportation or the Delaware Office of Supplier Diversity. The percentage requirement and the registration requirements will remain in place for the length of the project.
