Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.

The work consists renovations to the facility, including the replacement of boilers and steam to water pool heat exchanger with gas fired condensing boilers and pool heater, replacement of the existing, DX heating and cooling rooftop units to gas heating. DX cooling rooftop units, upgrade of the pool rooftop unit to (2) pool dehumidification units (one to serve the pool deck and one to serve the balcony area) with gas heating and DX cooling, upgrade of the gym basement locker room and kitchen indoor air handling units to hot and chilled water coil air handling units (chilled water system to be completed in a separate, later project), replacement of the existing, original building's indoor air handling unit. Controls work includes extension of BAS system from CTE wing to rest of school. Electrical work includes two (2) new lighting panel boards replacements and power panel replacement for new HVAC loads, exit sign upgrades throughout school, an power feeders to new mechanical equipment. Plumbing work consists of replacement of domestic booster pump system, new master TMV serving new water heaters, hot water return pump, and replacement of sewage ejector pump. The work includes replacing the steam heating system to hydronic two pipe system, upgrading the constant volume air handling and rooftop units, routing gas piping t the newly upgraded rooftop units, installation of VAV boxes at the supply of the original building air handling unit, replacing heating terminal units including finned tube, cabinet unit heaters and wall heaters, refurbishment of return-exhaust fans for the indoor air handling units that serve the gym, basement locker rooms, and kitchen.
