Renovation of an educational facility in Brooks, Maine. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of June 29, 2023, project is in unsufficient budget. Project is no longer needed. RSU 3 has announced a bid proposal for an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Upgrade Project at Morse Memorial School and Monroe Elementary School. The project is federally funded under the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding and is being carried out in compliance with all applicable requirements for a school. The project will require the use of Davis Bacon. The Morse Memorial School work scope includes the installation of a new 400 AMP single-phase NEMA 3R-rated transfer switch adjacent to the existing electrical service. The Monroe Elementary School work scope includes the installation of a new 600 AMP three-phase NEMA 1-rated transfer switch to be installed at the existing service disconnect location in the school's basement. Both work scopes require the replacement of conductors and control wiring to meet local and National Electrical Code. Bidders must include a detailed list of all proposed costs, timelines, proof of insurance, licensing information, and confirmation of compliance with the Davis Bacon Act. Bids should include a detailed plan for how the work will be completed. Contact information for the bidder should also be provided. Bidders are requested to submit two separate bids, one for Morse Memorial School and one for Monroe Elementary School. The project completion date is August 30th, 2023.
