Renovation of a water / sewer project in Allenspark, Colorado. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of March 7, 2024, per owner, the design team has been identified. General contractor has not been identified. Construction is scheduled to start in June 0224. The State of Colorado, Department of Public Health and Environment, Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Division (CDPHE), is requesting qualification statements from water treatment Consultants/Engineers to design a passive or semipassive ex-situ treatment system at the Captain Jack Mill Superfund Site (CJM), located approximately 1.5 miles south of Ward, Colorado in the Left Hand Creek Watershed. The ex-situ treatment system will provide final treatment of water discharging from the innovative in-tunnel treatment system within the Big Five Adit to ensure it is suitable to discharge into Left Hand Creek. The budget for this project is approximately $500,000.
