BASE BID
The Base Bid scope of work for this project shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Abate and remove approximately 770 square feet of existing VCT flooring as asbestos-containing material in the hallways of
the Davey Lopes Recreation Center (see Abatement Plan - Attachment B following this RFP). Demolish an additional 100
square feet of existing carpet tile in the two vestibules leading to the pool. Level sub-floor and repair cracks as necessary to
prep for new flooring in all areas where existing flooring was removed. Specify, furnish, and install new poured commercialgrade epoxy floor system. Floor shall be slip-resistant and the final color shall be approved by the City. Test the sub-floor for
moisture prior to installation per manufacturer's instructions. Provide all product sheets of flooring system with bid.
DEDUCT ALTERNATE #1
Specify, furnish, and install new VCT flooring in lieu of the poured epoxy floor
system scoped in the Base Bid above.

ADD ALTERNATE #2
Abate and remove an additional 1,030 square feet of existing ACM VCT in the
following rooms located off of the main flanking hallways: computer room,
director's office, concession area, activity room, storage room.

ADD ALTERNATE #3
Install an additional 1,030 square feet of commercial-grade epoxy floor system
in the additional rooms identified in Alternate #2.

ADD ALTERNATE #4
Install an additional 1,030 square feet of VCT flooring in the additional rooms
identified in Alternate #2
