For any information, email: bosse.j@ohoutaouais.ca Only are considered for the purposes of awarding the contract, tenders from tenderers having their principal place of business in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and who have the license required under the Building Act.
The tenderer must submit with his tender a certificate issued by Revenu Québec relating to his tax obligations: this must be valid until the end of the three-month period following the month during which the certificate was issued.
Tenders must be prepared on the forms provided in the tender documents.
Tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee. It must be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date set for the submission of tenders. This guarantee can be in the form of:
a bid bond representing ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid excluding all applicable taxes, using the form (section 00320 of the estimate) or issued by a company legally authorized to stand surety, where
a certified cheque, a money order, a bank draft, an irrevocable letter of guarantee representing five percent (5%) of the amount of the tender.
Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender ; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
Only contractors holding a valid license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec are eligible to bid.
