Edifice is currently seeking to prequalify contractors for the packages listed below. Mint Hill Public Facilities will be a new municipal development for the Town of Mint Hill. New construction consists of a new Fire Station, Public Works Dept. with Vehicle Bay, fueling station, and a Police Evidence Building as well as all adjacent sitework, utility and hardscapes for the Town of Mint Hill. The designer is Creech and Associates. Potential Informal Bid Packages: Work that will not be part of the formal bid process and will not require submitting a prequalification statement prior to bidding (but not limited to): 01-001 Final Cleaning, 01-002 Surveying, 06-001 Woodwork, 06-002 Wood Framing, 07-001 Roofing, 07-002 Waterproofing, 08-001 Doors and Hardware, 08-002 Glass, 08- 003 Overhead Doors, 09-001 Drywall, 09-002 Acoustical Ceilings, 09-003 Flooring, 09-004 Tile, 09-005 Painting, 10-001 Specialties, 10-002 Signage, 10-003 Canopies, 10-004 Lockers, 11-002 Appliances, 12-001 Window Treatments, 21-001 Fire Suppression, and 32-001 Landscaping. All pre-qualified bidders are required to seek MWSBE/HUB participation. The minimum goal for this project is 10% participation. Firms are encouraged to consider all possibilities for participation. Bidders must be properly licensed under all state laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the respective trades and work to be performed. The General Statutes of the State of North Carolina applicable to license requirements, submission of bids, and award of public contracts shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work. Further information may be required in addition to this pre-qualification statement based on your response. These items may include additional financial statements, proof of applicable licenses, certification status, safety program/policy, drug and alcohol program/policy, additional project experience, and or certificates of insurance.
