The project scope of work includes exterior painting, wood restoration and repair, and entry door replacement, at the Margaret O'Neill Building. The Agency reserves the right to waive technicalities, to reject any or all Bids, or any portion thereof, to advertise for new Bids, to proceed to do the Work otherwise, or to abandon the Work, if in the judgment of the Agency or its agent(s), it is in the best interest of the State Each Contractor and Subcontractor shall be licensed to do business in the State of Delaware and shall pay all fees and taxes due under State laws. In conformance with Section 2503, Chapter 25, Title 30, Delaware Code, "the Contractor shall furnish the Delaware Department of Finance within ten (10) days after entering into any contract with a contractor or subcontractor not a resident of this State, a statement of total value of such contract or contracts together with the names and addresses of the contracting parties." Wage Provisions: For renovation and new construction projects whose costs exceed the thresholds contained in Delaware Code, Title 29, Section 6960, the minimum wage rates for various classes of laborers and mechanics shall be as determined by the Department of Labor, Division of Industrial Affairs of the State of Delaware. Lead painted exterior building structures and components have been identified during historical assessments and paint testing. The areas and surfaces scheduled for paint removal (renovation) and re-painting under this contract are presumed homogeneous and equivalent to the paint previously analyzed as lead-containing. The summary of the presumed lead- painted components scheduled for lead paint abatement Exterior Window Casings - Approximately; Estimated 1,458 Linear Feet Total of Casings on all 4 sides Exterior (Refer to Attachment A - Harvard Scope of Work Drawings for Locations) Exterior Door Casings and Panels - Estimated 100 Linear Feet of Door Casings and 125 Square Feet of Door Panels on Building North, South, and West Sides of the Building. (Refer to Attachment A - Harvard Scope of Work Drawings for Locations Bidders or Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Architect at least seven days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Interpretations, corrections and changes to the Bidding Documents will be made by written Addendum.
