Site work for a civil project in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Franklin County will be accepting sealed bids for construction of Phase 3 at the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill. The Franklin County Landfill address is 9340 Virgil H. Goode Highway. Questions due by 5:00 PM * March 31, 2023 This project includes excavation and grading for an expansion to an existing landfill, installation of geosynthetic liner system, construction of a leachate collection system and connecting to an existing leachate conveyance system, placement of granular leachate collection layer, revegetation and construction of erosion and sediment control features. Each Bidder must be familiar with Subtitle D Landfill construction, and must demonstrate experience in the past five years successfully constructing at least two landfills, with projects totaling 500,000 square feet with leachate collection and conveyance systems. Associated General Contractor's Form 220 will be used to evaluate the Bidder's experience record, and a Virginia General Contractor License is required for this project. Award will be made in the best interest of Franklin County. The right to reject any or all bids and to accept bids other than the low bid is reserved.
