Sixteen screws per 4'X8' sheet. Remove all unnecessary penetrations. Install new vapor barrier underlayment, either GAF Storm Guard, FT Synthetic Platinum, or an approved equivalent product, over entire roof area. Install new 26-gauge standing seam metal roofing custom curved panels over the hangar. Panels are to be formed on the jobsite and installed. Panels are to be fastened a minimum of every two feet with ULP clips, two screws per clip, that penetrate into the original metal roof. Install 24-gauge metal drip and transition metal. No ridge cap to be installed. Clean and prepare built-in gutter system between curved roof maintenance hangar and adjoining taller main hangar. Install GAF Storm Guard, or an approved equivalent roofing underlayment in bottom of gutter. Install 60 mil black EPDM roof membrane into gutter, fully adhered on the sides, to attach under the metal on the adjoining hangar and under the new roof on the maintenance hangar. Method 2 Install new 1 inch ISO board over entire barrel roof hanger. Each ISO board will have a minimum of 8- 3- inch insulation plates per board. There will be a 1-inch thick plywood (unless otherwise approved) nail strip around the perimeter of roof line. Over the office area attached to hangar, install fluted Styrofoam fitted into R panel, then install tapered insulation to make a seamless transition onto the barrel roof. Install a 24-gauge metal drip edge around the perimeter nailed every 6 inches. Apply 60 mil thickness TPO membrane. The membrane will be a recognized name brand such as Firestone, Carlisle, Mule Hide, etc. The membrane must be fully adhered and mechanically attached. Install six-inch cover tape around the perimeter installed over the 24-gauge metal drip edge. A 20-year NDL warranty is requested. Clean and prepare built-in gutter system between curved roof maintenance hangar and adjoining taller main hangar. Install GAF Storm Guard, or an approved equivalent roofing underlayment in bottom of gutter.
