The Project Consists of: Gilbert Street Water Main Upgrades Project, Which Includes, but is Not Limited to Providing Installation of Approximately 10,000 Linear Feet of 8 Inch Diameter Water Main, Including Valves, Fittings and Appurtenances, Hydrants, Hydrant Laterals, Water Services Including Curb Stops and Curb Boxes and Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement; All Materials, Other Than What is Supplied by the Town, and Equipment, Services and Construction Inherent to the Work Per Specifications. Wage Rates as Determined by the Mass. Commissioners of the Department of Labor and Industries Apply to This Project. All Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in an Amount That is No Less Than Five (5%) Percent of the Proposal Amount Made Payable to the Town of Mansfield. Bid Deposits Shall Be a Certified Check, Bid Bond, Treasurers Check or Cashiers Check Issued by a Responsible Bank or Trust Company. A Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance Will Be Required. Bidders Are Reminded That the Town Officials Other Than Those Listed Above Neither Individually Nor Collectively Are to Be Contacted, Nor Will They Discuss Any Bids Prior to the Scheduled Opening.
