Disclaimer: If you would like to bid on this project you MUST obtain bid documents by contacting procurement@suburbanconsulting.com The proposed work consists of but is not limited to the milling and overlay of the driveway, parking lot and skate park perimeter pavement, new perimeter ornamental and chain link fencing, installation of site amenities, pavement striping, concrete ADA parking spaces, landscaping and other incidental improvements as noted in the construction documents. Bids must be submitted on forms prepared by the Township. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed, specially addressed envelope bearing on the outside, the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon addressed to the Township Clerk of the Township of Middletown, 1 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ 07748. All bids mailed will be at the bidder's risk. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a maximum of $20,000.00. Such certification is to be without condition or qualification, and the check made payable to The Township of Middletown. Each bid must also be accompanied by an agreement to become Surety, properly executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and which agreement shall be attached to the proposal. All bidders shall be required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and N.J.A.C.17: 27, requiring each bidder and each subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an affirmative action program of equal opportunity, which guarantees minorities employment in all categories.
