This is a two phase selection process. Bidders responding to this selection process are requested to submit a bid in two phases. This posting is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase solicitation process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Following the evaluation of the submissions of Phase One, bidders will be advised of their qualification result and the status of the tender. Phase Two Bidders will be provided an INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT) for the financial evaluation in relation to the specifications and drawings. Parks Canada requires a contractor to remove and replace asphalt structure along Trans-Canada Highway 1 in order to safeguard the integrity of the roadway, ensuring public safety and accessibility through the National Parks. The work within this tender package involves replacement of the asphalt pavement in Glacier National Park, consisting of mill and inlay 50 mm asphalt, 65 mm overlay, spray patch (crack repair), line painting, and the addition of concrete barrier. Up to 2 km of ditching will also be targeted within this project. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000, Taxes extra.
