Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pooler, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Pooler is soliciting bids for the resurfacing work along portions of Benton Boulevard (0.42 miles), Memorial Boulevard (0.50 miles), and S.H. Morgan Parkway (0.76 miles). Each project includes traffic control, milling along the entire project length, and removal, replacement, and/or patching of failing road base sections of the pavement system as identified by the city staff. The scope of each project will also include the repairs and/or resurfacing of the pavement system of all the driveways connecting to this roadway. Residential driveways shall be paved up to 10 FT from the outside edge of the pavement of the travel lane. Intersecting commercial driveways and local streets shall be paved to the radius return or as directed by City staff. Work along S.H. Morgan shall also include the replacement of concrete gutter, curb, and valley gutters as identified by the City staff. All materials and installation procedures must comply with the latest "State of Georgia Supplemental Specifications Modifying of the 2013 Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems" issued by GDOT. Also, this project must comply with all applicable GDOT Standard Construction Details, and all the exhibits included in the attached RFP.
