Hatfield Township will accept sealed proposals for Bishops Baseball Field at School Road Park. The Bids will be reviewed by the Board of Commissioners at a subsequent meeting of the Board. This contract is for renovations to the Bishop Field baseball field at School Road Park located at 1619 School Road, Hatfield, PA 19044. This work is for renovations to the infield of the existing baseball field to provide a 60/90 field layout in accordance with Little League guidelines. See the attached map indicating the area of work. Perform layout of 60/90 dimension field. Review field layout with Hatfield Township representatives. Excavate the infield area of the 60/90 baseball field to an approximate depth of 6- 8" throughout. Properly dispose of all excavated materials, Compact the existing subgrade. Install a geo-textile fabric in the infield area over the existing subgrade. Install regular infield mix at an approximate depth of 6-8". Construct new pitchers mound in current location. Install sports turf blend with blue grass. Restore any areas disturbed by the work.
