Amended Pre-Solicitation Notice - Requires Response by March 21, 2023 Solicitation: 36C25223B0020 Project: Upgrade Electric Systems (C) Project Number: 676-23-002 Location: Tomah VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI The Tomah VA Medical Center has a requirement to Upgrade Electrical Systems at the Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 E. Veterans Street, Tomah, WI 54660. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, qualified supervision, overtime, and other items designated in the specifications and as shown on the drawings for the construction to upgrade the electrical systems. Several electrical systems are in need of repair and a few tasks related to those systems are in need of attention. In summary: o Surge protection devices (SPD) for buildings 240A, 400, 401, and 406 main service panels are not working. Those devices need to be replaced as soon as possible, o Batteries for DC relay for the primary service switchgear are failing in building 428. The battery system needs to be replaced with new AGM batteries, o Generator Fuel Tanks have surface water leaking into fuel and must be corrected, and o Heat cable for melting roof snow and ice are needed on buildings 401, 402, 403, 404, 406, 407, and 408. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 - Electrical and Other Wiring Contractors with a size standard $19 Million size standard applies. Estimated price range for construction is between $200,000 to $400,000. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business (SB) set-aside UNLESS TWO OR MORE SDVOSB FIRMS RESPOND WITH INTEREST TO THIS SOLICITATION BY TUESDAY, MARCH 21ST.
