The Alamo Sewer and Water G.I.D. Board will consider awarding the contract at the next regularly scheduled meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to these Specifications. The completed forms shall be included in the bound proposal and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to the above address and marked for the project described above. Faxed Proposals will not be accepted. The principal items of work for the Project will consist of: -Site grading; -Install site piping, drain piping and sump, inlet and outlet piping and connections to existing distribution system piping; -Install owner supplied skid-mounted water treatment plant and associated piping; -Install new 40'x 60' metal building including reinforced concrete floor slab, 14-foot roll-up doors, 3-foot access doors, urethane insulation, slotted floor drain, steel catwalk and concrete aprons; -Install building HVAC equipment including cooling and heating; -Install building plumbing including hose bibs, yard hydrants, water piping, sink, electric water heater, drain piping and vents. -Install building power service, new treatment plant electrical power and lighting. -Install electrical connections to existing power. -Install conduit and connections to existing SCADA system; The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price for the contract.
