Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
With the southern end of town growing it will become necessary to staff an Engine and Ladder truck at Station 84. Currently the station was built to house 4 personnel with the intent on expading later and letting PD occupy the current station for a Police substation. Project is included City of Hardeeville Fiscal Year 2024-2029. As of April 30, 2024, project is funded for FY2026 construction. Design funded for FY2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
