The work, in general, consist of the expansion of Richert Manor's parking lot including but not limited to: the removal of concrete paving, concrete curbs, sidewalks; excavation of site as required to accommodate for the propose work; the removal & replacement of site lighting; the provision &placement of concrete paving, base & fill, pavement markings & signage, landscaping and other work items as indicated within the project's specifications and drawings. Project Location: Richert Manor Apartments, 902 E. Court Street, Flint, Michigan. Bid documents will be available on Monday, March 20, 2023; interested bidders may obtain bid documents via e-mail at no cost; to obtain bid proposal documents bidders shall e-mail CLMArchitectsLLC, clmarchitects@ameritech.net and request in writing to receive Richert Manor Apartments Parking Lot Improvement Project RFQ 2023-12 bid documents. Late bids will be rejected in accordance with the Contract Documents and will be returned unopened to the Bidder. The Housing Commission reserves the right to accept any bids, to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid and to make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Housing Commission. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Housing Commission and shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bidders shall comply with the Flint Housing Commission's Section 3, MBE and WBE policy. 1. The removal & replacement of existing asphalt and concrete paving; the provision/placement of asphalt & concrete paving and compacted base; placement of pavement markings and other associated work items as noted on the drawings & within the specifications of the contract documents. 2. The removal & replacement of site lighting. 3. Repair/replacement of site elements/features affected by the performance of the work: concrete paving/sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, lawns, etc. 4. And other work indicated within the specifications, work item notes, drawings and as required to properly complete the work.
