JVWCD'S 4670 South 1590 East Well Pump needs to be pulled, inspected, and redeveloped. During the most recent operation, this well experienced a turbidity spike and motor overheating. The pump is an 8-stage, 1800 rpm, vertical turbine pump operating with a 350 hp motor and delivering about 1400 gpm of water. The pump is set at approximately 450 feet and the total depth of the well is about 815 feet. The District desires to inspect the pump and redevelop the well. The motor has already been removed and is not part of this project. SITE OF WORK: 1590 well. 4670 South 1590 East, Millcreek, UT 84117. All work shall be substantially completed within 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price.
