Reference Number: 0000313423 Kane County is seeking qualifications for professional engineering design services firms for fire protection system upgrade at the Juvenile Justice Center (37W755 Route 38, St. Charles, IL), Judicial Center (37W777 Route 38), Branch Court (530/540 Randall Rd.) Third Street Courthouse (100 South 3rd Street, Geneva). The successful firm will carry out a multiple part process to upgrade existing fire protection systems in these buildings. It is intended that these four buildings have an integrated fire protection system, which can be expanded to other county buildings in the future. The basis of design shall be the EDWARDS Fire Safety, EST4 platform, or its equivalent. A significant desired feature is one-voice communications (Mass Notification) capability for campus wide paging and pre-recorded messages. The engineering firm shall provide references of similar design projects successfully completed.
