The City of Vancouver is proceeding with the Phase 2 of a multi-phase program for renewing the coating on the Granville Street Bridge. The project will involve fully recoating select areas of the steel structure, structural steel repairs as required, and modifications to the existing avian exclusion devices to facilitate the work. The purpose of this RFP is to retain a structural engineering firm/team ("Successful Proponent") with bridge inspection, design, and rehabilitation experience and a NACE qualified coating specialist (either on staff or as a sub consultant) to assist with design documents and inspection of Phase 2 of the coating renewal program ("Program"). The services provided by the Successful Proponent as well as the coating work by the construction contractor ("Contractor") are cumulatively referred to as the "Project".
