The City of Patterson Department of Engineering, Building, and Capital Projects is soliciting requests for bids for the construction of Ward Avenue Sanitary Sewer Water Lift Station Rehabilitation Project. Bids shall be dropped off or mailed to the Engineering, Building, and Capital Projects Department of the City of Patterson, attention Jaspreet Mangat. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope on the forms provided in the Bid Book. The name of the bidder, the bidder's state registration and DIR number, the name of the project, and the statement "Do Not Open Until the Time of Bid Opening" must be printed on the sealed envelope. Bids received after said deadline or without the required registration number will be returned unopened to the bidder. General Description of Work: Rehabilitate a sanitary sewer lift station by removing the existing pumps, motors, and piping in the pit, applying a waterproof coating to the interior of the pit, installing new pumps, motors, piping, level sensors, and stilling well in the pit, installing a new stilling well near the outfall at Salado Creek, ancillary electrical work, and constructing a concrete pad around the lift station pit. Contractor's License: The successful bidder must possess a current Class A Contractor's License issued by the state of California and must be licensed from contract award through Contract acceptance. City Staff will certify that the certificate of authority of the insurer has not been surrendered, revoked, canceled, annulled, or suspended, or in the event that is has, that renewed authority has been granted within 10 calendar days of the insurer's receipt of the certificate shall be required. Prevailing Wages: Pursuant to Section 1773 of the Labor Code, the general prevailing wage rates in the county, or counties, in which the work is to be done have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available at the California Department of Industrial Relations' Internet web site.
