Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in East Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work under this contract includes replacement of sidewalk panels on Pitkin Street from the intersection of Darling Street to the intersection of Meadow Street in the Town of East Hartford. It also includes other appurtenant work such as resetting of gas, water and electric utility valves, handholds and other structures to grade, driveway crossing and maintenance and protection of traffic. This project is funded through the HUD's Community Development Block Grant program. The awarded contractor will be subjected to federal requirements, including paying federal prevailing wages per the Davis Bacon Wage Act. A Performance Bond will be required of the awarded bidder. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of all bids when such action is in the best interest of the Town. Contractor must comply with all Federal, State and Local requirements under this contract.
