The project consists primarily of the milling and resurfacing of various streets at various locations within the Township including minor drainage improvements like resetting castings. Resurfacing limits may be sections of a road or entire streets as directed by the Township. A list of the specific streets and quantities will be provided prior to the start of construction. Bids or proposals shall be made on the forms provided. Please note due to Covid-19 the Municipal Building, where the Purchasing Office is located, may be locked to the general public. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the bidder shall submit, at the bid opening, a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid.
