Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A new medical center and office building will be constructed on a surface parking lot adjacent to the current facility. From a practical perspective, the new center will house: physician offices, treatment rooms, administrative offices, and a pharmacy. From an aesthetic perspective, the new facility will be welcoming to all, overcoming some of the inhibitions associated with the current windowless building. Outdoor spaces and landscaping will honor the residential neighborhood and encourage visitors. This project is included in the state's Capital Improvement Program FY 2023. As of April 4, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
