Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Since its inception, Friends of Pittsburgh Professional Soccer has worked with the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County to develop the Sports and Athletic Complex at Montour Junction, a 78-acre site designed to offer community access to nontraditional sports fields.This project includes the construction of seven outdoor soccer fields and the support amenities that include bleachers, concession stand, restrooms, and parking areas. This project will connect the previous phases of development, which include the Allegheny Health Network Sports Medicine facility. This project is included in the state's Capital Improvement Program FY 2023. As of April 4, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
