Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond prepared on the form of bid bond attached hereto, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of 5% of the bid. Cash, checks and bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within three days after the opening of bids. Question Deadline 04/14/2023 at 5:00 PM ET The successful bidder, upon failure or refusal to execute and deliver the contract and bonds required within 10 days after receipt of notice of the acceptance of the bid, shall forfeit to the City, as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with the bid. Service Area #1- Naomi Jones Park Service Area: This service area includes all of the residential housing units whose residents are the primary users of Naomi Jones Park located at 38122 Martin Luther King Boulevard in the City of Dade City: 03F Parks, Playgrounds - Naomi Jones Park currently contains some basic amenities including playground equipment, basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. The project proposed in this application is the construction of additional amenities which will enhance Naomi Jones Park further. The construction of the additional amenities in Naomi Jones Park will include the installation of sun covers over the existing playground equipment. Service Area #2 Community Park Service Area: This service area includes all of the residential housing units whose residents will be the primary users of Community Park located at 14042 10th Street in the City of Dade City: 03F Parks, Playgrounds -Community Park currently contains no amenities. The project proposed in this application is the construction of amenities which will enhance Community Park. The construction of the additional amenities in Community Park will include the installation of ADA compliant playground equipment. Service Area #3 - Watson Park Service Area: This service area includes all of the residential housing units whose residents are the primary users of Watson Park located at 14510 19th Street in the City of Dade City: 03F Parks, Playgrounds - Watson Park currently contains some basic amenities including basketball courts and a baseball field. The project proposed in this application is the construction of the additional amenities which will enhance Watson Park further. The construction of the additional amenities in Watson Park will include the installation of ADA compliant playground equipment
