Site work and paving for a road / highway in Piedmont, South Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of Work 1. River Oaks Circle will be repaved with an 8 cement modified recycled base or milled 5.5 and paved with 3.5 asphalt intermediate course and 2 asphalt surface course. The assumed cementrate is 50 lbs/sy for the bid. The actual cement rate will be selected based on the laboratory test results to be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor will need to provide field test results for the cement modified recycle base to include moisture content, cement spread rate, and compaction by an independent testing provider. 2. Replace catch basin flat slab tops with SCDOT type 9 top slabs with manhole covers, repair cracked/damaged catch basin curb inlets, add steps in drainage structures, remove sediment/debris in catch basins, fill catch basin inverts with concrete, grout stormdrain pipes into catch basin walls. 3. Replace damaged sections of concrete curb & gutter at selected locations. 4. Install Road Name Signs, Stop Signs, and Speed Limit Sign. 5. Clear and grub trees, mow, and clean the vegetation from the curbing. 6. Backfill curb and gutter 7. Crack seal curb and gutter and concrete curb inlets. 8. InstallRoad Name Signs, Stop Signs, and Speed Limit Sign.
