As of May 12, 2023. Due to the grant funds having a deadline, the project has been cancelled, there will not be a rebid. The Borough is seeking a LUMP SUM BASE BID to include all labor, equipment, overhead and compensation, and materials which are not listed in the Specifications section necessary to complete the Work. Bids may be mailed to the OWNER at 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201, Attn: Jamia L. Wright, Borough Secretary, and will be considered if received prior to the scheduled time of bid opening. The Bidder assumes the responsibility for timely delivery. A Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid is required to be submitted with the Bid. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. The Successful Bidder shall be required to supply a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid. Some, or all of this project will be funding by the Emergency Medical Services Covid-19 Recovery Program Grant The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. The time for full and final completion of the work of this contract is June 7, 2023. Damages for delay of completion shall be liquidated at the rate of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each calendar day that expires after the specified date of completion.
