Site work and paving for a civil project in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This is a 2023 Capital Improvement Project. The work specified in this project will require the contractor to provide labor, equipment, and material necessary to improve the roadway surface by milling and overlaying 18,000 feet of asphaltic concrete and installing roadway striping. The intersection of Penn Mill Rd and State Highway 190 will undergo widening for the addition of a right-hand turn lane, as well as the addition of subsurface drainage on both sides of the widened road, as specified along Penn Mill Rd (R03D007) Section 23-25, 30 Township 6S Range 10E - 11E and Horse Branch Rd The Parish reserves the right to add, remove or otherwise modify the above, as determined necessary by the Parish and as allowed by law. The time period for completion of work is forty-five (45) calendar days from the issuance the Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the Parish Question Deadline 03/27/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Bidders are urged to promptly review the requirements of this specification and submit questions for resolution as early as possible during the bid period. Questions or concerns must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Department no later than 2:00 CST seven (7) working days prior to the bid opening date Further, any questions or inquires must be submitted via fax to 985- 898-5227, or via email to Procurement@stpgov.org.
