Roof replacement, approximately 45,000 sq. ft., at James J. Curiale School located at 300 Laurel Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. The scope of services will include the complete removal of 45,000 sq. ft. of existing roof materials, inspection of roof decking, installation of new decking (as required), new membrane roofing, flashing and sheet metals, roof accessories and specialties including new skylights, and all as required to obtain a new twenty (20) year warranted roofing system. This contract is subject to utilization goals and requirements for participation of certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE). The utilization requirement for certified African American Owned Business Enterprises is six percent (6%) of the total contract sum. The overall utilization goal for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises is nine percent (9%) and for Women-Owned Business Enterprises is fifteen percent (15%).
