Location Work shall be performed at the Northern Kentucky University Grant County building (hereinafter referred to NKU Grant County building) located at 390 North Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky, as designated in the Project Description which is part hereof. Scope of Work The work embraced in this contract consists of the replacement of the NKU Grant County building's roof, which is approximately 2,673 square feet in area, and the scope of work consists of the following Replace approximately 2,673 square feet of roof Remove all roofing and insulation down to original metal roof panels Remove flashing and sheet metal from walls, curbs, pipes, and roof edge Install insulation in the flutes Install 1/2" (one-half inch) high density board over insulation in flutes Install .060 mil rubber membrane Install 24 gauge per finished steel for coping and edge metal Install new drain covers All metal to be standard color Reflash all pipe boots Provide labor, material, and debris removal Provide cost to replace damaged metal panels Provide cost to replace deteriorated plywood Provide written copy of warranty Bid Bond: Each bidder shall tender with the bid either: A bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the contractor's base bid; or a certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Williamstown in a sum equal to ten (10) percent of the contractor's base bid. The City of Williamstown reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and waive any informal bidding requirements.
