Site work and paving for a civil project in Felton, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 7,600 linear feet of four inch (4") PVC vacuum main, 5,800 linear feet of six inch (6") PVC vacuum main, 400 linear feet of eight inch (8") PVC vacuum main, 4,700 linear feet of 3" vacuum lateral, 2,600 linear feet of four inch (4") PVC force main, direction drill of 360 LF of six inch (6") HDPE force main, 2,100 linear feet of 4" PVC sewer lateral, installation of 183 vacuum pits, vacuum building, sewer vacuum equipment, and trench and roadway restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Federal or State scale wage rates are NOT applicable for this project. If the responding Bidder deems any portion of its response to contain trade secrets, proprietary or other confidential information, it shall isolate and identify in writing the confidential portions, together with a statement in support of its designation as such. The submission shall be confidential until the bid has been awarded and a contract has been executed. Thereafter, all submissions shall be open to public inspection. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of Bid Opening on not less than two (2) calendar days notice by certified delivery, electronic delivery, or facsimile. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
