As of January 11, 2024, construction of this project has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project will demolish the vacant property at 1445 Emporia Street in Aurora and restore the parcel to a dirt / grass lot for future redevelopment as an affordable housing site. The WORK of this project consists of the demolition and site restoration of the duplex structure located at 1445 N Emporia Street, Aurora, CO 80012, and a separate freestanding garage/storage shed located on the same lot with address 1443 N Emporia Street, Aurora, CO 80012. The project requires all structures, fences, concrete flatwork, landscaping, and trees to be removed from this parcel (1973-03-1-07-018). The single-family duplex consists of a 1034 sf single story house with a 656 SF basement. The house will be demolished to 2 ft below grade and the structure filled in. Existing facilities shall include capping of the water service at the meter and sanitary services at the cleanout.
