Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Vermillion, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The bids will be considered the Board of County Commissioners at the Commissioner Room in the basement of the Clay County Courthouse, 211 West Main St., Vermillion, SD 57069 on April 4, 2023 @ 9:30 AM. All bids shall be made on the bid packet included in the project manual. This project tied with the Yankton County Microsurfacing 2023 project. The bid form and schedule of prices from Yankton County Microsurfacing 2023 or Clay County Microsurfacing 2023 are identical, and either is acceptable. The project will be awarded to the lowest combined bid. The Project includes the following work: 1. Microsurfacing Scratch Course 2. Microsurfacing Surface Course The work on the proposed improvements is to be entirely completed by September 15, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's security as described. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds as described in the Bidding Documents. There will be two separate contacts for the work, one with Clay County and one with Yankton County respectively. All bids shall be sealed, shall contain a deposit of the type specified, and may be filed with the Clay County Auditor during normal office hours or hand carried to the meeting prior to the scheduled bid opening, as specified above. Yankton County and Clay County reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
