Site work and paving for a civil project in Sopchoppy, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide engineering services for an anticipated $600,000 FFY 2021-2022 Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the neighborhood revitalization program category that may fund public infrastructure improvements such as street repaving, drainage, and water system upgrades, repairs, and related activities. Engineering services will include project design, construction observation, permitting, and related services. Proposals will be considered on an equal competitive basis using the following criteria: (1) Successful engineering experience: Max. 30 points; (2) Proposed approach: Max. 25 points; (3) Engineering experience with rural communities: Max. 25 points; (4) Qualifications of project staffing: Max. 15 points; (5) Ability to stay within the project budget: Max. 5 points. In accordance with Chapter 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statutes, a person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a proposal.
